Hippo Olympiad

This unique Olympiad is organised by Global Hippo Association.

The 1st English language Olympiad organised by Global Hippo Association was held in 2013, with about 5,000 participants from 6 countries and 43 finalists.

83,295 candidates from 64 countries participated in Hippo 2023, with 223 students competing in the final round.

The Olympiad is run by GLOBAL HIPPO staff, experienced in organising and running language Olympiads.

12th International English language Olympiad will be held in 2024 and is open to students and schools worldwide.

Aligned to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), Internationally recognised and Ofqual regulated English language qualifications are used throughout the Olympiad.

The qualifications are intended for candidates who are not native speakers of English and who wish to achieve a high quality, internationally recognised qualification in English that is available and recognised worldwide.
